London’s Ultimate Houmous Competition

Role: Senior Event Lead and Creative Production

Responsibilities: Creative lead, Production and Event Management

The Project:

In June 2026, I teamed up with Brother Marcus and Uber Eats to create The Houmoffs; London's first-ever houmous competition to life. What started as a slightly ridiculous question…”Who makes the best houmous in London?” turned into a sold-out celebration of one of the Middle East's most iconic dip. Hosted at Brother Marcus Victoria, the event brought together 10 of London's best restaurants, all competing for the ultimate bragging rights and the coveted Houmoffs trophy.

As Lead Project Manager, I worked closely with the Brother Marcus team to shape the concept, curate the restaurant line-up and oversee delivery from start to finish. From coordinating partners and managing logistics to creating an experience that felt fun and welcoming.

On the night, a guest list of food influencers, media and industry figures casted their votes for their favourite. Hosted by Ollie Eats, the event combined great food, friendly rivalry and plenty of passionate debate about chickpeas, creating a buzz both in the room and across social media.
